The La Corte del Pozzo Amarone della Valpolicella presents itself in an intense ruby red with violet reflections, which increasingly turns into a deep garnet red as it matures. The nose reveals a rich, captivating bouquet with notes of ripe plums, stewed cherries, blackberries and warming spices such as cinnamon, cloves and a hint of cocoa. On the palate, the wine is powerful and complex, with crumbly, well-integrated tannins and a long, impressive finish. The dense aromas elegantly accompany the full body without overloading it.
This Amarone is the flagship of the Veneto region and at the same time an expression of the Fasoli family's deep roots in their homeland. Since 1900, selected local winegrowers have been supplying the high-quality grapes for this wine, whose careful drying and traditional vinification are incorporated into the production process. “La Corte del Pozzo” symbolizes the close connection between craftsmanship, origin and passion - an Amarone that combines the great tradition of Valpolicella with the modern quality awareness of the Fasoli brothers. - Gerardo [TS05/12]
