The Karmis, a white wine based on the indigenous Vernaccia grape, has an intense, bright straw yellow color and seduces with a fine, persistent bouquet. The aromas are reminiscent of floral fruit, with subtle notes of white flowers and ripe pear. On the palate, it is delicate and full-bodied at the same time, with an elegant and lively spiciness that lingers for a long time. This wine comes from the picturesque Tirso Valley between Cabras and Baratili and is an expression of the diversity of Sardinia. Gerardo's Notes: Neben dem Tyrsos sind auch die anderen Weißweine von Contini einen Probeschluck wert: Karmis ist eine Cuvee aus Vernaccia sowie Vermemtino und beweist welch schöne Weine sich aus dem lokalen Terroir Sardiniens extrahieren lassen. Der Wein hat in jüngster Zeit auch einiges an Wohlwollen von der Fachpresse erhalten und wurde von Contini mit einem re-design des Etiketts geadelt.
