The grapes for this Valpolicella come from 10-year-old vineyards near Monte del Drago. The result is a red wine of medium weight, fine elegance and balance. To be sure, the Valpolicella name still suffers from the region's misdeeds in the 1980s and 1990s. However, producers like Musella prove that an everyday wine doesn't have to be a sweet, thin infusion. Father Pietro dal Cero is dedicated this excellent Amarone, as a sign of reflection on its own roots, culture and history of the area. The siblings Igino, Gian Franco and Anna Maria dal Cero have recently acquired vineyards in Valpolicella to realize this dream there.
