Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso DOC 2020

Refosco, a wine made from the autochthonous grape variety of the same name, is a wild and sincere character that leaves its mark. Its intense ruby red color attracts attention, while the aroma recalls wild blackberries, sour cherries, violets and cloves. Bric del Baio · Langhe Nebbiolo MAGNUM DOC 2020

Maximum typicity promises the Nebbiolo Bric del Baio, which is made from selected grapes from its own vineyards. The aroma is finely fruity and balsamic, with slight hints of chamomile and mirte. The namesake giants are a reference to the giants of Mont'e Prama, formerly freestanding sandstone cult statues of the Sardinian nuragic culture. In 1974, the farmer Sisinnio Poddi plowed out the head of one of these statues on the Sinis Peninsula. The forty years of excavation campaigns brought to light other statues, nuraghe models and wall remains. The age of the giants of Mont'e Prama indicates that the oldest free-standing large sculpture in Europe was created in Sardinia, even before a similar development began in Greece.
