The Valpolicella Ripasso 'Ripa della Volta' (Valley of the Gods), comes from the second vineyard of the Montresor family (Ottella). After a long search, new vineyards were acquired and developed in the neighboring Valpolicella.

The high quality, calcareous soils are similar to those of Burgundy: this unique location, with its microclimate and marl soils - from which the Dolomites were also formed - create the conditions for an honest, sustainable and personal product.

This Valpolicella, produced according to the Ripasso method, has a concentrated ruby red color. The complex bouquet is reminiscent of dark fruit, coffee and licorice. Exceedingly soft and harmonious on the palate, with a persistent finish. Limited small edition. - Gerardo [TS02/21]
